lyrics
Hit me one more milk and coffee
sometimes she has no money
I hold out your hand
A free ride pout on the prowl
and your red dress it's so lovely
What's your name and where’s the honey?
I’ll meet you in the bathroom stall
Say quarter past four?
But you’re too cool to move with your stone and stick
Things with you get old real quick
First time I’m not at your neck
What happened at the discotheque?
I think that you’re trouble in the morning
City shaking getting kinda boring
But that won’t stop your flirting
Monday morning heads are hurting
And at home may be where the heart is
But I hung up my worries at the park light last night
With your friend.. uh
‘Cause you’re too cool to move with your stone and stick
Things with you get old real quick
First time i’m not at your neck
What happened at the discotheque?
Bang heads,
last night I got home thinking something that you said
Well it’s the last thing on my mind when
When I go to sleep tonight
When I go to sleep tonight again
Last I saw you got tricks from your side kick
Down by the chapel you talk the talk
And all that I heard were the clicks from your high heels walk
And your red dress it's so lovely
What's your name and where’s the honey?
I’ll meet you in the bathroom stall
say quarter past four?
Cause your too cool to move with your stone and stick
Things with you get old real quick
First time I’m not at your neck
What happened at the discotheque?
Bang heads,
last night I got home thinking something that you said
Well it’s the last thing on my mind when
When I go to sleep tonight
When I go to sleep tonight
When I go to sleep tonight
Oh
Bang heads, when I go to sleep tonight
When I go to sleep tonight again.
Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist

Alvvays has always been great, but with this album they took it to the next level. Every one of these songs is lodged in my brain now, permanently (in a good way). s. moxley
